In our 2WD we were only able to do less than half of this drive due to a sand drift right across the road, this was a real shame. What we did see was good but not great, having visited more amazing sights on the...More
Different from most government-run tourism sites in that you can walk where you like to view the rugged coastline. But it's up to you to be careful. Enjoy the authentic Australia bush and coastline, appreciating that it is being shared by the owners.
Great scenery, but rough roads and poor hard to read signage. It is private land, fee applies to enter, keys obtained from tourist centre in Port Lincoln. Just needs some up keep and improvements in safety fencing and signs to make it an excellent experience.
So many beautiful sights here. Amazing ocean beaches, Each turn bought you something different to look at. One huge beautiful rock pool and some very very rough seas that through up some enormous waves down the back.
Great day out.
If your in Port Lincoln...make sure your head out to Whalers Way for a look...its fantastic! We spent the day in the National Park...then made our way to Coffin Bay National Park...which is also amazing!

The experience was good, signage very outdated, cost $30 just to get through gate definitely very overpriced only took about 2hrs to complete track. We would not recommend and we definitely won’t do it again.
You can get the pass key at the little kiosk thing at the gate. However, th permit needs to be collected from the tourist info centre. If they don't have any, they will be able to advise where to get them from.
