Came here with friends to enjoy the rocks. They were very interesting and definitely worth the stop.

This is probably the nicest beach we have seen in the World and certainly the longest particularly at low tide which allows you to walk some 4-5 kilometres along the finest sand. Unusually the beach had no "artificial flotsam" from the ocean. Extraordinary place!

Haystack Rock is such a part of Cannon Beach ...it is iconic. There is, truly, no bad time to visit Haystack Rock. But, the best time is early in the morning during low tide; when you can visit the surrounding tide pools and see starfish, sea...More

The 235-foot sea stack is the tallest in the region. At low tide one can walk right up to the rock and feel dwarfed by the huge rock. The beach is packed sand and very conducive to long walks. Our inn was a block away...More

A walk around Haystack Rock at low tide was one of the highlights of our Oregon trip. The water that remains in the pools when the sea is out allows to wath some species that usually exist below the water surface. Very interesting!

Lots of sea life around the rock(s) and a great place to watch sunset. It’s a lot larger than I expected.

Although the weather reports said showery, it was just beautiful!!! The fall is outstanding in Cannon Beach at this time of year. We missed the summer beach crowd so it was easy going, relaxed and stunning.

If you park on the Main Street near Haystack Rock, it’s a really short walk down to the beach.
