Part of a self guided day trip through the Columbia River Gorge loop with my wife. Easy access off the road. Only about a 10-15 minute hike to the falls; moderately steep in spots but steps make it pretty easy. Gorgeous falls and worth the...More

Walk the forest trails after a rain shower and feel your cares fall away like autumn leaves. Your boots will be muddy though.

Spectacular Falls is a highly recommended side trip along the Historic Columbia Highway. Round Trip is about 2/3 mile from the parking lot and, while it has a wide, paved walkway, does get quite steep in some areas. Fortunately, there are many benches to take...More

This is an easy walk in to the falls. The double fall effect wasn't as grand as I suspect it is in spring, early summer. No concessions and a couple different trails surrounding the falls to enjoy.

Although my companion couldn’t make the hike, we had a beautiful view of the falls within a short walk. Tends to be pretty crowded so went early and enjoyed a nice breakfast.

One of a few waterfall stops on our scenic drive down Hwy 30. It was very pretty and definitely worth the stop. The trails are nice and not hard at all. Love hiking the falls in OR, when I get out west to visit my...More

The name alone is very suggestive, however, you need to be there to enjoy its true beauty. Along the Columbia River Gorge, there are many waterfalls on the Oregon side of the river. This one has its romantic imagination. I have seen many people holding...More

This was on my list of waterfalls to see and it was one of the favorites of my trip. I am an avid hiker so the trails were not difficult to me. It is a very short hike and there are a few places with...More

Stopped here while driving down historic 30 highway and loved it. We saw a total of 6 waterfalls while driving down highway 30, and I believe this was #3 along the route. The hike was relatively easy, I think it’s a mile round trip. The...More

There is an marked exit sign. If you're coming from the Vista House, you'll have to past by it, so you won't miss it.

Yep. There are several exits that will allow you to get to the various falls off if I-84 east and then back onto I-84 going either east or west.
