Time well spent in this oasis of calm just outside Portland. We spent over an hour walking through the gardens which are beautifully maintained.

A must go to spot in Portland. The gardens were just the right spot to relax and meditate while attending a conference. You can not express the beauty of this spot. A must!

We were so happy we visited the Japanese Gardens. The views of Mount Hood on a clear day are spectacular. The gardens are peaceful, well maintained and the colours in autumn were amazing. The entrance fee is worth it for the views alone!

October visit when all the leaves were turning was spectacular. Sunday morning very crowded so go early for parking. If you visit you can also go to rose gardens right next door. Has steps up and down but not to bad. Very peaceful place.

Went here to photograph fall colors. A little too early, but some of the trees had yellows and oranges. I thought it was a bit excessive to charge $10 to bring in a tripod. Not very large but so good. Need to come back some...More
