I attended Last Thursday last night and it was the first time I felt fully immersed in the Portland scene. I've been to dozens of art festivals but this was the most Bizaar by far. They closed off the street so you didn't have to...More
How great it is to find an organic neighborhood business district that is about 20 blocks long with no chains, but all independent business. Great restaurants like Dar Salam, Case Study Coffee, The Filling Station Pet Supplies, Tradeup Music and more.

One of Portland's interesting walking areas. We walked from NE 33rd to the church on NE 19th. Lots of interesting shops and galleries and lots more restaurants and pubs. Worth a look see. Galleries close early on Sundays.

We popped by Alberta Street on our way back to the airport. There’s lot’s of street art, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops to savor. I wouldn’t recommend as a destination but a spot to check out if you’re in the area.
