Unfortunately there was no-one there to tell us about this church when we visited. Still it was very interesting to check it out, both inside and out. When you are in Charleston, get yourself a map with sites to walk to.

Absolutely fabulous church and a must see. The artwork is fantastic. We had the opportunity to see two concerts in the church. The steeple dominates the area.

A beautiful church that has been meeting since 1681. Remarkable! If you want to be buried in the graveyard you have to trace your lineage back a few generations that were actually born in Charleston.

This church was right down the street from our hotel. We passed it often and the attendants were always smiling and welcoming to everyone passing by. We walked inside to find it more beautiful on the inside than on the outside.
