Great museum and grounds. Very unpretentious. A nice "room for kids" to learn (puppets of sea creatures, live critters, video of animals of the area). My 10 yr. old granddaughter spent a lot of time in the butterfly enclosure watching the cocoons, butterflies and lizards....More

We enjoyed the exhibits and learned a few new things about the island. The walking tour is easy and had great views. Worth the time to visit and learn about the history of Hilton head

I would at least spend 60-80 minutes for outdoor exploration as well as the museum.
