My wife and I just drove through and walked around this beautiful place. The views are outstanding and the trails are great for hiking. The park is one of the most beautiful we have ever been to.

We spent a few days at the park hiking and exploring. The park is free and the visitor centers are well-staffed and spacious. We found the trails to be well-marked and well-maintained.

We Drove through the park on the way to Cades Cove, the heavy rains the day before provided excellent river sounds the whole trip with ample pull-offs so you can stop and view the water and snap a picture or two.

Don’t miss this opportunity to revel in the glory of the Smokies. The traffic can be troublesome, patience and courtesy are key to enjoying the ride.

Didn’t see any on our visit. Best place we saw them was in the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone National Parks.
