Located in Pinhao, the tilework on the outside of the station is worth a stop. Lots of parking on the adjacent street.

this is a very beautifull train station, with excellent tiles that show the hard life of the vineyards, it will deserve a visit for sure.

On our walk through town, we were told to walk by the train station because of the beautiful tiles showing panorama views and life in Pinhao. Even though it was evening, there was enough lighting to see the tiles which were on the exterior of...More

The small train station at Pinhao is worth a stop and brief visit to view their beautiful blue murals. There are about a dozen or so of these depicting views of the Douro valley - beautiful!

This charming station has been beautifully preserved and the 24 azulejos blue mosaic sets depicting the history of the area are quite breathtaking and definitely worth a look.

The tile work on the outside of the station is worth visiting. It is charming and beautiful. The station is clean and, in.our experience, the trains were always on time.

The building is little changed from when it was built structurally but Salazar had it beautifully enhanced with the blue tile scenes. The railway trip along the river is a bit special and you can be steam hauled in summer at the weekend

If you are in the area, you definitely should stop by and take a look. The tile scenes are beautiful. It is a very small and quaint station but very picturesque. A nice contrast to the much larger and busier Sao Bento station in Porto.
