The building is little changed from when it was built structurally but Salazar had it beautifully enhanced with the blue tile scenes. The railway trip along the river is a bit special and you can be steam hauled in summer at the weekend
If you are in the area, you definitely should stop by and take a look. The tile scenes are beautiful. It is a very small and quaint station but very picturesque.
A nice contrast to the much larger and busier Sao Bento station in Porto.
