Very clean, organized, lovely little spot to stop and get a drink, or shaved ice, banana bread or many other options and sit at one of their benches or picnic tables and take a break from the road to Hana.

We always do Hana and around Kahekili hwy every time we go to Maui and we compare the banana bread, (its Julia’s banana bread on Kahekili hwy).

But also a pleasant surprise is the coconut candy, fresh and awesome.

Must Stop Here!

Halfway to Hana was the friendliest place I’ve ever visited. The banana bread is out of this world and shaved ice was just what the doctor ordered. This is a MUST when traveling to Hana. You won’t regret spending time here.

Nice stop

We stopped for banana bread at "Halfway to Hana", and it was very good but pricey. Nice place to stretch your legs and move on. Side note... they have very clean port-a-johns.

Get the apple banana bread! Get it!!!!

I don't even like banana bread but this was amazing. The apple bananas give it a different taste. It also makes for a great snack either on your way up or back from Hana.

Forget the banana bread get the pineapple smoothie

I concur with the answer above. I will also for warn you that unless you are into hot dogs bring your own picnic lunch. There are several excellent restaurants in Paia to get lunch to go!
