Yes, there are so many steps and it is almost tortuous but once at the top, you look around in total awe. Wonderful views not only of the best of San Francisco but also of the flowers and birds.

The view from up top is amazing and make sure you park at the bottom of Lumbard to get a photo of the zig zag traffic an people.
