What a marvel and its free. If you are scared of heights do not drive it. The views are out of this world once on the island there is a small beach to enjoy. A must visit and experience.

This bridge is staggeringly high and long, with fantastic views of the bay (so long as someone else is driving). Amazing piece of engineering.

We crossed on a Sunday morning after breakfast. Weather was perfectly clear and the view was nice, but really nothing to write home about compared to the rest of the views San Diego has to offer. Coronado beach is nice and worth a visit, but...More

What an engineering masterpiece. Beautiful structure framing incredible views. Not for the faint of heart as it is tall but you can see “forever”. A plus for visiting Coronado

This bridge is a must see. It stretches pretty far. We were able to pass under it and drive over the top. I would recommend passing under it to see the full view!

Classic San Diego bridge that leads from one great place(GasLamp) to another (Coronado island). Enjoy!

It's not easy to find from some directions, but once we did, things went smooth and it dropped us off at all the islands offerings--and they were sooooo crowded on a pretty, sunny Wednesday morning. There is one public parking lot that we saw.

A very scenic drive from San Diego to Coronado. As a bonus there is no toll for this bridge now. There is also lots to see and do in Coronado.

This huge bridge takes you high above San Diego Bay affording you spectacular views, but if you are the driver don't be tempted to have a look. The lanes appear to be quite narrow and the retaining wall is close and unforgiving if you hit...More

To really get a feel for how long the bridge is. I think you should take the Habor cruise to the south so that you can see the bridge from all different angles. Once a toll bridge to Coranado it still has the toll booths...More

Hi, thank you for your question. In all the years we have visited we have easily crossed the bridge in under five minutes.

probably by taxi ... I am sure that bus goes that direction, but could be a long ride especially if you have baggage
