Visiting the memorial museum requires booking or long queuing. However, getting into Oculus is free and unlimited. Impressive both inside and outside.

The sight of this structure as you approach is amazing. It’s a place you can’t miss seeing if you go into the World Trade Center area. Design of this place is unique and unforgettable.

The Oculus is a spectacular architectural achievement and an inspiring backdrop to the 9/11 Memorial. Definitely take time to explore this area when in New York City. Also, there are interesting examples of street art alongside of the Oculus.

What can I say. An impressive structure, beautifully constructed as part of 9/11 Memorial. All that area is a must when you visit New York. Always remembering with respect the tragedy that occured, but admiring all the buildings constructed in honor of the fallen.

There were so many great boutiques and stores to choose from. When you're done shopping, you head straight into the subway on to your next adventure!

A new addition to downtown NYC and an uplifting one, being proximate to Ground Zero. The shopping centre is a Westfield so not very original. Just go to see the architecture.

Absolutely horrible experience, security guards walking around with their walkie-talkies chewing gum like they're someone important. Don't bring any kind of camera or actually don't bring anything at all with you, they'll assume you're some kind of terrorist who's there to rob them of their...More

It has several names..the dove...the eye lid, the birds wing..call it what you want...what it is ?? A very creative and expensive Subway station that just happens to have gift shops and far reaching creative ways to move people. A must see inside. Crazy good.

This building is beautiful. I live near Milwaukee, WI and the architect Santiago Calatrava also designed our art museum. The similarities are evident. We did explore the building, mostly because of access to the subway. The bathrooms are clean too! Definitely take some time when...More

Yes, The #1 train is right inside the Oculus. TIP: When you are on the main floor of the Oculus look for signs to the PATH trains -- that is more obvious to find than the signs for the # 1 train which is right across from... More
