It was a nice sunny day and a beautiful stroll by Hudson, lovely breeze, Scattered trees , few restaurants and lots of people ! Memorials, ferries helicopter rides & still a very average affair!

We did this in passing at the end of our night. I am so glad we did!! It was stunning; so much so that we rode it again. Not embarrassed to say I cried too. It was so beautiful and unusual- with beautiful visual and...More

We found this as we walked away from the Ellis Island Ferry. Truly magical. Maybe it’s for children but we loved it as adults.

We stumbled upon this carousel by complete accident, I have never heard of it before. We were walking through the park and could see something through the windows from a distance. We went in as it was going round and it is an amazing sight!...More

While wandering around NYC with my teenager on spring break I was able to convince him to join me on the SeaGlass Carousel in Battery Park. This carousel is really neat. There aren't horses, there are fish, that have cool pastel colors with lights inside....More

Our neighbor had told us to check this out on our trip to NYC. I am glad we listened. Most carousels are you normal horses or other four legged animals. This one is comprised of fish. And they don't just go up and down, they...More

My six year old daughter enjoyed it, and it was unique - with an "under the sea" theme, both visually and with the music. And at $5 it was worth the ride. But it's not something I would go out of my way for -...More

This is a gorgeous carousel and very well worth a visit. Check the hours before you go, if you want to get a ride. Note that there are not many spots as the carousel itself is fairly small. Also, there is at least one spot...More

There should be several parking garages near the World Trade Center that you can Google. The Staten Island Ferry terminal should be within reasonable walking distance.
