The reservoir is towards the top end, it’s very peaceful and extremely relaxing.
Enter Central Park and check out the path around the reservoir. It's about a mile and a third around, so a nice walk but plenty of places to enter and exit so you're not committed to the whole trek. A must see in cherry blossom...More
When you're going for a walk you pass here. It just happens to be that Jackie O had a great love of the city and nature. She spent many years in NY as an editor. I would not consider this a historical landmark.
