This was a fun experience for the kids because of the Christmas Tree. It is quite expensive though, like most things in NYC.

Checked on the ice rink opens up in a few days. On October 12th I’m guessing around the same time every year.

I love coming here to watch the skating in the Fall/Winter season. Was here last in January 2019 with my significant other. I highly recommend visiting for short stays when showing friends around town.

I’m a New Yorker at heart and this Rockefeller Center Is in the ❤️ of Manhattan and a year round attraction. Of course nothing beats viewing the Christmas Tree in Winter, but stop here where the rink is transformed into a pop-up lounge/bar. There is...More

I’ve never ice skated before, but this was fun to try for my first time. I went on Valentines Day, and it was pretty busy of course. A really cool experience for anyone’s first trip to the city for sure!

Stoped in with our 5yo daughter after Top of the Rock's. Well, it is not cheap, if you need to rent skates, but we did it for her as she wanted it so badly. Spent one hour there, watching on her and some other pretty...More

It wasn’t our plan to ice skate here as it was never one of our “must do’s” but we had been to the top of the rock and the atmosphere when passing the rink was amazing (even at 11pm!). We had no hesitation in joining...More

Didn't go skating during our visit in December but loved being there! The rink itself was a bit smaller than I expected and it did get very crowded, but looked great fun. The whole atmosphere was amazing, and being there just before Christmas and seeing...More

We visited NYC Feb 28-3/3. We showed up to the Rink around 10:00AM on a Friday morning. We were one of approximately 12 people on the ice. Being that we visited during the winter, we felt that this was a must do even though it...More

You can buy same day tickets during your stay. There will be a line so just be patient. It goes quickly. You also can rent skates. You are in the off season so I don’t believe tickets can be purchased now. When you do... More

We were there in the holiday season and there was an extremely long line with over an hour's wait. But it was worth it. So just follow the line down the stairs to the entrance.
