Grew up coming to Philadelphia for school field trips. First saw the Liberty Bell inside Independence Hall in the late '60s/ early 70s. Took young children to Independence Mall in the '90s and visited the Liberty Bell out in grassy mall area encased in plexiglass....More
Attended at the visitors centre at 0900hrs & got a tour for 1000hrs.
The Ranger was excellent, explaining all about the Declaration of Independence & the constitution. Very enthusiastic but unbiased at the same time.
We booked our tickets online and then collected them from the visitor centre on the day. There is a short walk from the visitor centre to the Hall so be in plenty of time. Our tour was very busy & commenced promptly.

Booked our tickets online for a timespot. A mere $2. You have to pick up your tickets then across the road 45 minutes before tour. Guard very entertaining and tour was only 25 minutes long. Nice bit of history that Philly is famous for.
