Really well done museum - was only able to stay an hour due to a flight but wish I could have spent several hours there! Short films are excellent and plenty for 12 yr old to do. Very educational- will be back someday.

A very well-done museum, covering the revoluton from several perspectives. Just opened in 2017. Has 2 short videos giving outline to the museum displays. I didn't realize how close we came to losing that war. And it shows how George Washington was such a hero,...More

This museum of the revolution gives an excellent and probably Balanced account of the revolutionary war (or war of independence ). It looks at the battles on land, at sea and with the native Americans. It shows how after other nations got involved it became...More

This museum clearly explains the events of the American Revolution. A few rooms show films to explain specific events. The number of historical exhibits reveals the hardships, the clothing, food - and lack thereof- for the troops, weaponry, forces involved. Certain bits of information explained...More

The museum has a nice layout. The staff is very friendly. The tour we went on was poor, with the guide knowing no more than what was written on the exhibit. The museum does not have enough detail. Many of the exhibits have people who...More

There are a few parking garages within walking distance. We parked at the below ground parking garage at the National Constitution Center and walked there via Betsy Ross House. We hit the City Tavern afterwards. Have fun.

I am not sure if you can bring food in a backpack. I would call and ask. We ate at a restaurant after we visited the museum. There are a lot of places right in the area. Enjoy!
