This is cute and lush. The statues are neat. Not so clean though and people that made me weary at night. Check it out if your nearby. Otherwise, don't come to the area just to see this.

Rittenhouse square is one of the center of Philly, quiet during the day, at night it becomes more noisy as youngstairs gather up. It is safe and enjoyable.

I have stayed at the Sofitel several times and have been satisfied. This does not overlook the square, but is a short walk.

Vernicks for a really top meal - otherwise you can google 38 best restaurants in philadelphia (this doesnt allow me to paste i link) I found advice in there reliable for really good restaurants
