It had nice views of the Benjamin Franklin bridge, but I went at night and there were many areas that were dimly lit. If there were more businesses or lights it would be a a better place to go.

A nice place to stroll around for views of the Delaware river and the bridge but unless there are some outdoor events taking place it is slightly disappointing. Other cities have developed their waterfronts with shops and restaurants to attract visitors but there is no...More

Penns landing is right on the river and a pretty nice place to take a walk. There is a great museum, a cool park, boat rentals, restaurants, historic ships, carnival rides, skating rink and there is always something going on.

Even though the hotel is right next to I 95, it is very quiet. The location makes it easy to walk into the historic district or to the riverfront--there the historic ships are located. The views of the city are spectacular at sunset or sunrise...More

This is an enjoyable walking location, and I loved the theme of the park and green space area, hammocks, seating, lighting in the trees, all very pretty. Ships with history I enjoyed learning about. Good views of the River and bridge. We were there right...More

I love Penn's Landing. It is probably one of my favorite places in Philadelphia from the historic ships to the Seaport Museum. In the summer there are places you can eat and drink outside. It is a great place to be to walk around and...More

This boardwalk/relaxed promenade has an eclectic combination of activities, with festival food (funnel cakes, fries, etc.), colorful hammocks, comfortable chairs, and a lovely view of the river. There are concerts here, as well as swan boats and canoes for rent. You can also take cruises...More

We attended a free concert at the waterfront stage at Penn's Landing during Memorial Day weekend followed by a fireworks show over the water and had a great time. The venue was easy to get to. We walked from the historic district after a visit...More

Not sure. We took the Phlash bus, and Penn's Landing is one of the stops. The bus stops at many of the main attractions in Philly.
