loved seeing how old Savannah really is with visiting this cemetery. lots of history and amazing how some of the people did live long lives even back them.

I recommend taking a walking haunted tour at night first and learn the history. Being in the dark really adds to it. Unfortunately you can’t go inside after dark. Then go back in the day time and go inside and explore.

The Ghost Tour we took had some great information about the Cemetery! It has some very interesting history and great stories.

A lot of history in this cemetery. There are also some walking guides available for hire. Check out the wall with grave stones whose graves they could not locate after union troops desegregated the graves and moved the stones.

Wish we had booked a tour. Got off from the trolley to explore but disappointed. Not as interesting of a walk through on your own as cemeteries in NOLA but this place sure does have history. And it is so old. Very cool.
