There is so much information to take in, in multiple buildings, be sure to allow enough time to appreciate all the displays, movies and aircraft.

The buildings and exhibits are exceptional. Leave at least 3 hours to do this. The videos, photos, and exhibits capture the feel of the times.

Amazing displays honoring those who fought in World War II. This is a must stop on any visit to New Orleans! We really needed more time to see it all. Lots of interactive displays. Amazing display of airplanes!

Amazing museum. Well laid out. Takes you through the various theaters of the war. We forget sometimes how many fronts were being fought. Surprised to like so much. Take your time and enjoy.

Sorry no idea about the hotel. But personally if you are visiting New Orleans you are better staying nearer the French Quarter for all other sightseeing, food and drink etc.
