I took my girlfriend to the Saints opening game for part of our trip for her 40th birthday. It was very hot on September 9th. We had Got an Uber to the dome from the hotel. And no where did her or I see or...More
This was my first visit (9/29/19 - Cowboys game) to the Superdome, and I enjoyed it. Sat in section 314, row 14 and seat 9, which is about the 27 yard line on the opponents side. This section, as I suspect the other 300 sections,...More
Cowboys fan visiting for the game against the Saints. Even though the Cowboys lost, it was a great atmosphere and great game day experience. I have been to many Saints games in the Superdome before, but I have never seen so many visiting fans at...More
Great game! Who Dat! Thought the Who Dat Nation was going to have some trouble with the Cowboys, but the job got done. Defensive game. Loved the Superdome and love coming here. Can't wait for the next game. WHO DAT!
Great place needs an update. Even in premium locations the seats are tight and no cup holders. Ceiling has holes in it. Sounds system is old and weak. Big screens need updating. Wi-Fi worked very well.
Great venue and even comfortable seats. One word of caution ladies, you can not bring a purse with you unless it's clear or really, really small. I had a small purse that was not acceptable and had to go across the street to PJ's coffee...More
We went along to an evening show and wondered why you couldn't take even a small purse or bag in, well that's to stop you from taking your own refreshments in to the venue because everything will cost you an arm and a leg. It's...More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

NO! They will not even allow you to proceed through the metal detectors with any drink, so either drink it up, or trash it. Also, I saw a review by some newbie who had attended rock concerts in other states leave a ballistic review about the security people at the dome. She tried to take in a handbag that did not meet the NFL's policy. YOU CANNOT BRING LARGE PURSES TO THE DOME. They should be clear and no larger than 12 inchestall and wide.
