I fully appreciate that an area deserves additional kudos when it is brought back from dilapidation and disrepair into an area that blend historic architecture with the new. But unfortunately, I am not into modern art so a lot of what is going on in...More

The warehouse district has changed a lot since it’s beginning. It’s close to the port so it is where dry goods, molasses & other goods were stored. Now it’s full of culture with 20 plus art galleries, lots of museums like the National WWII Museum...More

We stayed at a hotel here in this district for 4 days and walked quite a bit each day. The restaurant offerings have grown since I was there last. There are not many shops but a few parks and the WW2 museum is close.

Other than the museums, there really is nothing here. If you want to check it out, take the St. Charles street car and ride through it.

Take time to explore the Warehouse District and discover the amazing art of New Orleans! We were in New Orleans on a rainy day and made our way through more than 10 different galleries with highest quality arts in all mediums.

The Warehouse District in New Orleans has a wide variety of places to eat. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available. Some are great, some or fairly good, a few are a disappointment.

We used to stay and play in the French Quarter. Not any more! Our recent visit was for five days. We spent a total of less than two hours in the Quarter. All of the trendy and new restaurants and hotels are in the Warehouse...More

The warehouse district is a mix of residential housing and converted warehousing, including museums, galleries, and dining. Emeril has several of his restaurants here including Emeril New Orleans and Meril but other than that and other establishments with French names you could just as well...More

We used to stay in the French Quarter when visiting NOLA. Since we discovered the Warehouse District, we don't consider staying anywhere else. This area offers a variety of hotels, restaurants, and bars. It is a totally different experience from the Quarter. We do want...More
