We turned the corner onto Bourbon street. My husband immediately had pink goo squeezed onto the toes of both his shoes. It was semi rubbed off and a hand came out for a tip. We walked a short way down and the same thing again....More

I was extremely disappointed after hearing so much good about this street! It was so dirty and broke my heart to see children playing on buckets without any parents around to supervise. Not for me!

We visited Bourbon St for a couple of nights in Sept 19. Its a lot noisier with drunken people at weekends, Sunday was fairly quiet. Saw some good bands. It is a bit like Blackpool.

We loved Bourbon Street so much! It gets pretty crazy but a very fun place to let loose and get your party on! A lot of little bars, restaurants, and shopping.

Bourbon street is known for the piss smell. So be prepared to smell the pee when walking on this street. They have drink specials at each bar.

Walked along here in both day and night time and whilst the street does have a certain charm during the day at night it felt rather seedy and run down. Smelt strongly of vomit too. :-( Plenty of greeters trying to get you to spend...More

Bourbon Street certainly did not disappoint. The live music from every bar flowing into the streets made it feel like a carnival. The atmosphere is like nothing I have ever experienced. Since a fun place to be with people of all ages and all walks...More

Never ever again. Nastiest place ever. Most dishonest people I have ever dealt with. Most landfills smell better than this place. You cant walk on the sidewalks without breaking an ankle. Police look the other way. People throwing up everywhere.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
