Explains a lot about Seattle - spectacular water views, sunsets, great seafood and fresh fruit & veg, coffee culture (see the 1st starbucks), thriving small creative entrepreneurial businesses, artisans & artists, beautiful architecture perched on hills, a well integrated diverse population, ... this is a...More

We were only in the area for four days over Labor Day weekend and naturally wanted to spend some time at this market. The crowds were enormous and it was so difficult to navigate through them to see anything. However, we did make it to...More

I was definitely overwhelmed when I got here at 9:30am, even though I did a little research before I came. It’s worth walking through to see the hustle and bustle. There were flowers, a ton of seafood, produce and PASTA. I bought a good amount...More

This is a really fun place. Lots of shops, fresh fish, and all sorts of foods, flowers and gifts. When customers buy fish at the Pike Street Market, the fish fly and it is fun to watch. The original Starbucks is there along with lots...More

There was so much to see and taste here. It was amazing. Ate lunch at one of restaurants and bought fresh fruit. Both were very delicious.

I don't think you can go to Seattle without seeing the Pike Place Market. Lots of local vendors both for food and souvenirs. Everyone seems very friendly and willing to help. Grab a snack and help a local out!

This was a must see. We went on a Monday so it was much less crowded than a weekend. So many shops to visit. So much to see. Could spend an entire afternoon there.

You gotta see these guys throw a huge salmon over your head and catch it like a football! The place is like a farmers market meets a flea market meets a seafood carnival. It’s just something you need to see with your own eyes.

You will notice homelessness in the city, however, we found it much less than San Francisco. Overall, the city centre was very safe and we felt comfortable walking around at night. The city is very clean. I enjoyed our trip... More

We did a great deal of walking during our visit, having no problems within the city attractions. Everyone walks or rents bikes to get around. There are plenty of city transportation, as well, to get you to places further... More
