You can't not visit the Space Needle if you go to Seattle. The renovations now give you a completely unobstructed view from the observatory. The weather cooperated and we could see for miles!

A little expensive for what it is -- you are paying to take an elevator up to the top so that you can walk around inside and outside on your own. No one there to answer questions or to give you any insight. You can...More

We started our vacation here and it helped orient ourselves for our future outings. They offered places to scan your ticket and get photos taken that you could later access with an app. This was fantastic to have all 4 of us in the pictures....More

It’s a little expensive to go up the space needle but the views were great (clear day) and walking on the revolving glass floor was fun. Stepping on the moving glass floor was interesting- had to look straight ahead, couldn’t look down because it made...More

The ride to the top takes a minute or so. Great view of Seattle and Mt. Rainer in the background. It is amazing to see how massive the mountain is. Go to the lower floor and ride the Loupe, the glass bottom viewing area. Overcome...More

But with aspects of a different city so a must do. Great free (yes I did say free) photography/selfie options. Good food/snacks available on viewing deck at very reasonable prices.

The Observation Deck renovation has made me love the Space Needle all over again. I live 4 blocks away from it, so like most locals only went when visitors were in town. But the sensation you get when stepping from solid footing out onto the...More

We stayed at the Executive Inn only two blocks from the Space Needle. The street parking was not metered. There is a free bus that runs from the Space Needle to downtown and the waterfront.
