I try finding a Catholic church everytime I visit a new city/place and pray at Mother Mary's shrine. This Cathedral opens until 9 pm which was perfect to end my day. I was amazed by the beautiful architecture and on how peaceful and serene it...More

This is a truly magnificent church covered in wall paintings and with the most amazing stained glass windows. Built like the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris outside, inside is bright and colourful. Silver mine money built the church and the quality of fine workmanship is...More

Gothic interior and Romanesque outside catholic church built about 1917. The church has impressive stained glass windows and hand-painted stations of the cross. Many steps outside lead up to its entrance adding to the majesty of the building from the front. Well worth visiting.

We visited middle of the afternoon and the doors were open. There were a few people there, quiet and reflective. Note the vivid interior colors and take time to visit the Stations of The Cross, as Jesus is depicted with Native American features.

You'll see southwestern art in a Catholic setting. The enormous Basilica is a Holy Place and you can feel you're on Holy Ground. i wish we were here on a Sunday to attend Mass.

The Cathedral was so large with a very somber and reverent atmosphere. The cathedral was ornate and the most beautiful I've ever seen.

During the school year, the week day masses often have the Madeleine children's choir from the Catholic choir school that is on First Avenue. The children's voices are wonderful. For Sunday mass, the 11 PM is the one with the Latin chants, full choir, incense,...More

This is one of the stops on the Trolley Tour. We have a bit of time to go in and see the incredible architecture and stain glass windows of this stunning cathedral. If you have an opportunity, drop in to take a peak. It's beautiful.
