Don't go expecting artifacts or historical items from Salem's past. This setup does a good job of explaining what happened in 1692, and what has happened since then. It's a good way to orient yourself before taking any of the walking tours in the city.

Took my kids this past weekend, hadn't been in thirty years and it is just a fun an experience as it was as a kid. The retelling of the witch trials with the music and voice are great! The scenes are still creepy and the...More

I had thought this place would be so much better than a light show with scenes depicting the trials. It was way too hokey and I couldn't wait to leave. The whole museum was very divorced from a memorable experience and I would tell others...More

On a weekend in October, Salem is really busy so we didn’t mind queuing for 45mins to get a ticket so that we could queue again for a timed entry, because we thought the Witch Museum would be really worthwhile. We were finally led into...More

The lines and wait time for this place or ridiculous and I don’t understand why. The “show” is sub-core and it’s kind of a joke how cheaply the whole thing is set up. If you want to learn about the history, find one of the...More

The Salem Witch Museum was not exactly what we expected. We thought there would be artifacts from the dark period of witch persecution. Instead we entered a large room surrounded by life sized dioramas. As the show began, each diorama was lit and a voice...More

Very informative. Tells the real history of this terrible part of history. Highly recommend starting your trip to Salem here, but if visiting in October you need to go early to get your tickets.

I found it to be very informative about the witch trials. Makes you sit back and think about what folks went through. This is an attraction that I would recommend.

Yes. The big room has stairs to access but you can come in through another door that has a ramp.

There is no dedicated parking for the museum. We found parking about a block or two away. And the walk was enjoyable.
