About
The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

The River walk is probably the most popular tourist area in San Antonio - but I still love it. Whether you walk along or ride one of the tour boats, it is a unique experience. We spent every evening we were in town walking, eating...More

The river walk is quite nice, but in the evenings is jam packed with people, heaps of restaurants, all fairly pricey. My favourite time to walk along the river walk was early morning, barely a soul in sight, vey peaceful and pretty.

An easy walk from the hotels. I didn’t see much parking availability. The Riverwalk is a small “river” surrounded on both sides by sidewalks. There are neat bridges and foliage to take pictures around. The main attraction are the restaurants and shopping. It gets very...More

Wonderful and varied dining and shopping with a lovely walkway. The boat tour is a great way for some history too.

My wife and I stayed in town near the River Walk for a week. After visiting the Alamo (must see) the River Walk was next. We enjoyed the easy strolling pace and friendly atmosphere. The restaurants, bars and pubs are priced about what you’d expect...More

We recently stayed in a hotel overlooking the river and it was such a nice view. Decorated with pretty flowers and picturesque bridges, the river walk is lined with fabulous restaurants and stores. Take a boat ride to hear about the area and historic architecture.

This river walk is very touristy but it's that way because it is so pretty and unique. Lots of nice restaurants, hotels and bars with boat tours to boot.

Beautiful, with lots of restaurants, bars and night life. A fun place to relax and just walk around to look at the scenery.

Hi Terry- while there is room by the boat drivers stand, it requires a step down to enter the boat. That being said, I would think they would be able to assist with a ramp or perhaps be able to assist you to sit in the... More
