We went to the square 3 or 4 times to eat and there was never anything going on. I guess we thought maybe there would be something happening in it for as much as we had read suggestions to go there

This is the center of Santa Fe. It is shops and restaurants and a busy place. Local Indians sell their wares on the plaza. It is a nice place to stroll. It also has benches on the park side.

Comfortable, busy park. Lots of benches and some tables on the pedestrian walkway. Variety of street performers, the best of which is a young lady who plays violin.

Typical historical plaza - lots of trees, benches - good place to sit and people watch. Surrounded by shopping and restaurants. A memorial is at the center.

Lovely relaxing plaza with many interesting shops and restaurants.Natives also sell their wares in front of the Governors Palace. Parking is hard to find and there are parking meters as well so bring plenty coins. However it is well worth visiting.
