Great history and scenery for Flagstaff along the old route 66 and the Santa Fe Railroad. Parking is a problem worse in bad weather, but worth the trouble.

We were killing time in Flagstaff and visited several great shops, Outdoor shop, bike shop and running shop. We had a delicious lunch at Proper Meats.

Lots of bars and restaurants that offer good food. Nice place to hang out with friends. A note to all it is a college town, but not overly noisy.

Good idea, but should have had earbuds as trains were going by. Always enjoy historic photos. I could enjoy the tour again at home on my computer to hear what I missed when trains went by!!

There are lots of lovely independent shop, art galleries and restaurants. The old architecture is interesting to see, nice and friendly people everywhere we went. Very walkable downtown.

A lot of great places to eat and get a drink in this area. Many good examples remain of the historic route 66. Worth the detour and visit.
