Had a great visit here - very easy to get to on the Trolley bus from central Waikiki and a very nice drive out. The trolley takes you right inside the crater to drop off, and it’s a short walk to the gate, and shop....More

We just finished our hike to the top! We are 35 and my level of exercise is walking my dog a mile daily. It took us exactly 60 minutes (up and down). We did this around noon. The hike itself wasn’t too bad, a steady...More

This hike is more a walk than a hike. However, the walk is really cool and beautiful. The entry fee is 1$. The view at the top is pretty stunning.

I hiked Diamond Head today, and I loved it. I shelled out the $4 to get the audio tour handset, which plays recorded snippets when you type in certain marker numbers. It was well worth it. I learned a ton about the history of Diamond...More

We walked/climbed to the top of Diamond Head - it was the 3rd time for us. The views at the top are well worth the effort.

This is a beautiful hike up an iconic landmark in Honolulu. Lots of interesting history associated with Diamond Head. The trail is shaded in parts which is nice. Dole whip and fresh pineapple from a food truck in the parking lot afterwards. I would try...More

The views up top are beautiful overlooking the city. There are lots of points of interests with the history of the site. The trails can be tiring but worth the view way up top. We did a tour and were driven up top and and...More

I saw younger children on the hike- however it does make me nervous as there are lots of cliffs and open edges- while some are "fenced" i use the term "fenced" loosely- this hike it self is not that hard- but still not... More

The start of the trail is easy enough, but as you get higher, the trail get narrow, so it may not be possible to have 3 across. Towards the top, there are some scenic outlooks, but to teach the actual too, there are two... More
