Loved the drive to the National Park. Very Pretty the Park it self is beautiful. Pretty snow capped mountains, waterfalls, and wildlife in the steams, well worth the visit.

It has some lovely scenery and magnificent vistas. It has the Blue Pools which is an absolute must to see. When in the area, stop and take a breath and see some beautiful scenery.

Took a half-day drive through this park. What an amazing, breathtaking experience. Around every corner, was an even more spectacular view. Free-roaming sheep and cattle in parts and some rougher roads as you progressed, but we had a low-to-the ground Honda and it easily navigated...More

The drive out to Mount Aspiring is astounding beautiful. Waterfalls, meadows, mountains, farms, fords to cross. AMAZING. And then do the Rob Roy Glacier Walk which was highlight of our trip!

We visited only a few sections of this park, but they were really amazing. We wish we had stayed longer in the Wanaka area to spend more time in the park.

Wanaka is where most people base themselves as it is the hub for many walks and multi-day hikes. Plenty of accommodation and food supplies here and information centres for day hikes etc,
