Our family of 6 picked Uxmal Mayan Ruins as an excursion during our carnival cruise July 2019. It was an amazing experience and HOT! You get to climb to the top of the ruins and see it up close. Our tour guide was amazing! We...More

we visited UXMAL along with my daughter, her husband and their 2 teenage children. The site is MAGNIFICENT! The only drawback to visiting any of the sites in this Mexican state of Yucatán is the cost. Formerly, fees for visiting all sites operated by the...More

Well preserved Mayan temple in the jungle, but with less crowds. We practically had it to ourselves. I enjoyed walking up some of the structures and the views across the landscapes are epic. I took a bus direct from Merida which was straightforward. Would highly...More

Beautiful and interesting. Loved it but the prices....! 413 for foreigners that are non resident in Mexico. This equals almost two tickets to the National Antrophology Museum in CDMX. For Mexico this is expensive and a federal theft. For foreigners who have already paid a...More

Don't go to the Yucatan without visiting Uxmal. The "ruins" are simply breathtaking. It has a fraction of the crowd of Chichen Itza - the more popular attraction - no vendors, and you can actually walk through the ruins and explore. Frankly, it's better than...More

This site for those who can afford to go is a worthwhile memory and a nice adventure. It's ChichenItza quality with a fraction of the crowd.
