After diving with the rays and sharks, I wanted to see some turtles. Disappointed we couldn’t swim with the turtles, but the lemon sharks was a great experience. Lovely people and some snacks at the end before trip back to hotel. Worth the visit.
We visited this Lagoonarium as part of full day Lagoon tour.
Lagoonarium is nice but nothing special. You have cages were the fish (including sharks) are so you can encounter with them more easily.

Fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of sea life. Go for a full day tour and you won’t regret it! It includes a circle tour of Bora Bora on a motorised outrigger canoe, access to the Lagoonarium, the lemon sharks...More

The day before we arrived in Bora Bora, we were docked in Moorea. It was there that I saw a woman holding an advertisement for a tour company to visit Bora Bora and her sign read: Bora-Bora Lagoonarium. They promised to 1. Circle Island of Bora- Bora Lagoon. 2. Stop to Matira Beach. 3. Snorkeling Sharks + rays feeding. 4. Swim Turtles Lagoonarium. They charged $100 with a $25 deposit due that day and the balance when we showed up in Bora Bora. We decided to book it and we were EXTREMELY happy with the tour. The brothers were so friendly. They serenaded us with a ukulele and drum and songs and kept us laughing! They provided all new snorkel gear (no one provides fins). They took us to swim in the bay with the sharks and stingrays, then we went to another location to do likewise. Then we snorkled a BEAUTIFUL reef before heading to the Lagoonarium. Swimming in the Lagoonarium with the Lemon sharks was quite an experience! They are much bigger than the nurse sharks, but of course, not aggressive. I was disappointed that there was not a single turtle in the Lagoonarium, but it was still a great trip. The tour guides washed our feet and shoes off with buckets of water as we got back on the boat, and then they fed us platters of fresh fruit and cold bottles of water. AWESOME TOUR GUIDES! I have a photo I took the day we booked, but she doesn't list a phone # or website. This tour was 10 times better than the one we booked for Moorea on the ship.
