We went to the Torres del Paine National Park area to see pumas. Did we see them? Yes we did!! We stayed at the Torres Hotel which is a converted sheep farm. Lovely place. Nice room and bathroom, food to die for, and or course,...More
We went out of our way to travel down south by plane and bus from New York (by way of Santiago) to Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales just to visit Torres del Paine. It's a stunning place with amazing views, beautiful lakes, icebergs and dramatic...More

Torres del Paine National Park is one of the most beautiful locations we have visited. The mountains, the lagoon and lakes, the wildlife, and the hiking are fabulous. This was our second visit to the Park, and we would go again in a heartbeat.

Various views are out of this world. Plan to spend 2-3 days to enjoy this beauty. Accommodation in the park is expensive but if I had to go back & forth from Puerto Natales that would be lot of wasted time and prime viewing/tracking time....More

We stayed inside the park. This saved us a lot of travel time. We were there for 5 days and did 3 hikes covering different segments of the W. The french valley, the towers and the glacier. I am sure I may have the actual names wrong but they were 3 parts of the W. All 3 took the entire day. It would have been difficult if we were traveling from outside the park.
There are many other hikes that don’t require the entire day that would be easy for you to cover. There are virtually hundreds of tours, I am not sure which one you are referring to.
Hi, I don’t have answer to your question. My questions is abount similar topic. Did you sue any trekking company to arrange the hike in Torres del Paine? I am looking for recommendation. Thank you in advance.
