This beach really squeaks. Drag your feet along the sand and it will squeak for you. It is a lovely spot on a sunny day especially if the wind is not to strong. Access is easy and the sand dunes are amazing.

It’s about 2 - 3 hours return walk from Tidal River (crossing over the footbridge). Easier if you drove closer, but the walk from Tidal River is spectacular. Lovely natives and we were lovely to see a wombat and black wallaby.

This beach is good for small kids and the en route to the beach is average and bumpy. I have not seen any rest room near by so.

White sand, squeaky sand! Such a gorgeous party of the world. Too rough to swim but we had a great time mucking around in the sand and on the rocks.

Worth the walk. Doesn't take too long to reach, and the track is easy. Great place for a swim. Colour of the water is very beautiful here.

Truly one of the best beaches I've seen. Squeaky white sand, turquoise waters. Stayed in Foster for a long weekend and spent a day down The Prom. Amazing.

Picturesque white sand beach with Aqua sea, well worth a visit, and carry on and do the walk to Picnic Bay for a swim in the calm clear waters on the one side.

Yes, it does actually squeak. And it is quite close to the car park, so easily accessible for those less able.

According to the "Visit Prom Country" website, "Dogs, other pets and firearms are not permitted." Also, I did not see anyone with dogs when I went there.

There are warm shallow spots at Squeaky Beach, especially if it's been a hot day. The water isn't too murky, clean enough for a river. I'm sure your son will love it, especially if you're in the water with him. You've got... More
