If you are around, really worth the visit. Just amazing! There are many steps, so if you are not fit be prepare to be tired! And if its hot day, dont forget to buy a bottle of water in the entrance.More

Wow wow wow. A short boat ride took us across to the thermal springs, mud pools and cave; it was absolutely fascinating. There are wood walkways and lots of steps so not really suitable for pushchairs, very young children or people who are not steady...More

We stopped by enroute Taupo, glad we did. A fantastic drive, no long waits, took us 1 hour to do the entire walk. Recommend 90 mins. Awesome Geothermal pool look outs Do not missMore

Yes, we are open Christmas Day from 8am to 3pm and will be open 8am to 4.30pm all other days over Christmas and the New Year.

Not as strong as Rotorua but yes there is a lingering smell. Something you can't escape at their geothermal parks.

You will struggle to get around the park in 30mins. However they check the number of visitors entering the park and then again on the return boat journey. Best advise try to get there earlier if possible. A must see place... More
