We spent about an hour walking along the track, over the canal bridges, up to the lookout. It was a very nice calm and sunny Autumn day and was a delightful experience. Not sure what it would be like on a colder, wetter or windier...More
Was a hot day in Melbourne so off to the beach for the afternoon. Went initially to St Kilda beach then Brighton beach - both beaches packed with no parking.
Ended up at Elwood - found plenty of parking close to the beach.
