We booked the nighttime rainforest tour from our cruise ship in January 2016. Total disappointment. We departed around 2:00 and our guide (John?) put my kid to sleep on the bus ride with his "informational" speech which was at times incoherent and jumped around with no rhyme or reason. We were expecting a hike as advertised, but it was a... More

We completed the "Twilight Tour to River Adventure" in December and it was a fantastic tour. The trail down to the river is very easy to traverse - downhill, but a good amount of hand holds. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and took great care to point out and explain different flora and qualities of a rain forest. Yes, it... More

We booked a tour with El unique Tours and it ended up getting cancelled at 10AM on the morning of the tour leaving us with insufficient opportunity to research and book an alternate. We tried at the info center but after making a few calls they discovered other tour operators had already completed their pick ups. We ended up wasting... More

I was part of a small group on the Twilight Tour. Mike, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the rain forest. Amazing how as it get darker the symphony of animal sounds becomes so loud. Bring your raincoat as it will suddenly downpour in the rain forest even when no rain is forecast. I would not bring young children on... More

Although I was most interested in the daytime tours, time and availability left me with the twilight tour. Given that, it was very enjoyable. We were part of a very small tour group, so there was plenty of personal attention and excellent hiking prep (good instructions, good provided equipment). The rain forest is fascinating after dark and the sounds are... More

Exceeded expectations. We did the twilight hike to see the rain forest transition from day to night. Super cool and educational. I can now check "see glowing fungus" off my bucket list :) We also got to swim in the river which was very fun, too. They take care of everything, great operation. So glad we were able to get... One opinion - a must do in PR. Norma and Jesus were outstanding at the rainforest and so were Bradley and Manolo during kayaking. I could give them 10 stars.

We did the hard trail and it was a nice walk but the mi Mina falls were not that impressive. The kids had fun walking in the rainforest and the view was breath taking. Totally recommend!

Our tour guide was passionate about the rainforest and it showed. He showed us so may things that we would have missed if we went on our own. Very young kids may not be interested in some of the information, but our kids found it interesting (ages 10-13). This is a walking tour along one of may trails in the... More
