Having initially visited this impressive building to browse the wide range of fireplaces and stoves on display, I was taken aback with the micro museum on the top floor. Apart from the pleasant distraction of shopping, I was astounded at the amount of care &...More

Was visiting Ampthill Fireplaces and stumbled across Ampthill's veg own micro museum on the top floor. I'm a sucker for history, so loved the timeline and authentic WW1 plaque. Amazing!

Although small, the micro-musuem was a very interesting place to go and see, was captivating to see how my local town has developed over 1000 years since 1089. Throughly recommend the micro musuem, to anyone who has an interest in local history.

Thank Jack J
