We paid 800,000 for a 20 minute quad at the white sand dunes. For the 800,000 $50AUD we where told we could drive the quads which would have been great if we didn’t have a local clinging on to the side of the quad stopping...More

Unbelievable experience! I rented the quad bike for 20mins and the tour guide takes you around the whole sand dune area. It was amazing trip, he also takes photos for you and cuddles you while you drive!
On the day I went I wore sandals / thongs. It is very windy on the top of the dunes and so a light scarf to protect the face. Women should wear short or long pants because of the strong wind. Take a water bottle as well.
its quite expensive in my opinion as well
but at the other side, its quite an experience if u can afford it
i chose to walk instead but many opt for the quad bike
there is a choice of riding behind and riding yourself
