Anniversary Cream Tea.

It was our wedding anniversary and as we had had a busy weekend, we thought it would be nice on such a sunny summers day, to have a cream tea at Cranborne Tea Rooms. We have... read more

Visited this garden centre on a Sunday and found the prices to be high end. There is largish area with plants, a small gift shop and cafe. Coffee £2.95 for a large cup which is more expensive than Costa. Food hygiene rating 4. There is a garden which has limited opening times on Wednesdays during the season, it closes mid... More

The garden centre is superb, set out beautifully with a little shop selling interesting items, great for gifts, a barn selling vintage items and a very reasonably priced coffee shop with light meals and cakes, all home made. There are several themed events on throughout the year.

This is a delightful place to stroll around and see the gardens and house (outside only). You pay £6 to get in or £5 for pensioners 65 and over. Afterwards you can spot your favourite plants in the garden centre (quite expensive), wander through the shop and have something in the cafe. Went with a group of friends, all enjoyed... More

Our group, which consisted of seventeen people arrived at lunch time for our booking at the Cranborne Garden Centre. We were taken through the very busy (and noisy) cafe area to a separate, pleasant dining room. I thought the menu was quite limited - mainly offering about six different fillings for either sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes or baguettes -... More

It was our wedding anniversary and as we had had a busy weekend, we thought it would be nice on such a sunny summers day, to have a cream tea at Cranborne Tea Rooms. We have visited before for lunch and a few years back, where we had a 'proper cream tea' on a three tiered server, containing sandwiches, scones... More

Popped in here literally on the way past. The house attached to the garden centre wasn't open which was disappointing. The garden centre didn't take long to wander around but the plants looked much better than other reviewers might lead you to believe. Perhaps the garden centre owners have read the reviews and pulled their fingers out and corrected the... More

I regularly visit Cranborne Garden Centre as I have over the past 20 years and was very disappointed on Sunday when I came for a cream tea with my husband. The girls serving were very hard pushed to cope with the people waiting to be served. My cream tea was very poor - the butter was melting - the thin... More

We used to visit this garden centre regularly when we lived more locally and loved the food and a walk round the centre to look at the lovely array of plants etc since moving we have not been for a while. We popped in as we were passing and were shocked. The shop has diminished in what is on offer the plants... I visit Cranborne Manor every year in June to see the wonderful collection of roses especially the old roses but really sad to see the very dried out plants with so many of them wilting badly. Practically every plant in the nursery was desperately in need of water and couldn't understand why this complete lack of care. It is such... More

A good place for a wander round and a coffee and shop. In the spring and summer the gardens are very nice to wander around and spend time.
