We visited this on a wet day - so good atmosphere. Not a lot to see or to help you interpret unless you have a guidebook. Only a mile off the main road. This is my thing and I enjoyed it

I love taking photos of this place but if you believe in ghosts then don't go here after dark.Seriously, the best time is day or night but especially sunset.

stopped off on the way to Bournemouth. small site, quite pretty and of interest to historians. supposedly haunted !!! probably 30 minutes would be enough time spent here only room for 2 cars in layby but no one else there on our visit

Worth a visit, good history, Allow half an hour unless going for a picnic watch out for mud in wet weather. Local pubs nearby.
