In my opinion till now i have never seen this type of dam in dhanbad locality. The area of this dam is large.There is a part named Nehru park which is very beautifully decorated.

Visited panchet dam , Garpanhakot , Baranti on january 2017. For me it wasn't a good experience. The WBFDC bungalow is a beautiful place and worth spending a night. The nearby places are not good. Also the local people are not welcoming at all. panchet...More

My suggestion is not to visit Garpanchakot-Baranti. the place is nice with scenic beauty but the Local Natives are very hostile , they are very poor , with literally no income, so they always target tourists for money. Starting from cab driver,local shop owner etc...More

It's a great scenic beauty of panchet dam and panchet hill.the road along the dam is very good for a bike ride.

Must visit if u luv clicking photos...... a bigger dam than maithon.There was a snake museum nearby which can be included. You can also visit the garden just besides the dam
