Decided to hike up to the top of the crater for the views. Takes 3 hours from Nakuru and is pretty tough going especially if it's hot. Entry is 700 for visitors or 500 for students. To go to the top you don't need a...More

Beautiful place for a hike... visit with friends and carry your own water.. I try to have hikes with my family monthly and we always have a great time...expect to get tired and dusty... please do not visit when it's raining for obvious reasons..

You take care not to slip and fall.People safely stand a small distance away from the fault line. Those who easily get scared cant go near.

It was a big group tour and going up the hill was amazing.when we got up there the view was lovely knowing directions of different places in the world i loved the experience.

Its Free, although there are the usual sellers at the car park at the top.. We had a young guy offer us a guided walk for free, but after he wanted to show us his store. It was well worth having the guide and buying a few... More
