We went back 3 times to see this gorgeous lake, and don't forget to take a walk around the lake. Stunning the views from every angle. The gorgeous spruces, rocks and plants.

We came specifically to shoot this lake at dawn but alas it was snowing and cloudy. Then the clouds broke for a few minutes and it was a beautiful sight to behold. Our guide said to hurry though as the lake is shrinking!

After seen Braies Lake i didn't think to see again another lake like that, once here i have to admit Carezza lake is better than Braies. More much wild, really a lot of trees and the water's color was incredible

After the spring melt, this lake can get to 17m deep and still be crystal clear. The reflection of the background mountains, clouds and pines make for fantastic photos if the conditions are right.
