About
The Shipping Agency Takita family in Tokoname, Chita peninsula, Aichi Prefecture, is a residence of the Takita family who had been in the shipping business from the Edo period to the Meiji period. A building that was built around 1850 was restored and maintained (April 2000). Exhibits precious infinite lamps (light fixtures using rapeseed oil), Japanese ship models, and the history of shipping.

Aやきものの散歩道Aコースを散策に行きました。瀧田家前の坂道も綺麗な瓦を埋め込んだ散歩道になっていました。いつでも無料のところにトイレもあって休憩もできます。いつもは有料の箇所も１月は無料開放になっていて、土蔵の中や屋敷の中も見学ができました。お庭のあった水琴窟は竹の筒を使って綺麗な音色を楽しんできました。一部を覗いて写真も撮ることができました。

仏間に設置した12分の説明ビデオは簡潔に廻船問屋の事業内容と歴史を説明されていて見分の価値ありです。やきもの散歩道コースにも組み込まれていて入場料200円ですが寄られるだけのものはあると思います。帳場と裏にある離れはその時代を感じさせてくれます。2階にも上がれましてその眺めも風情があります。

やきもの散歩道の途中にある市指定文化財。入館料は200円。江戸から明治にかけて廻船業を営んでいた瀧田家の住宅。常滑に行ってはじめて廻船の町だったということを知りました。建物はとてもきれいなのでたぶん復元だと思います。

庭まで含めて空間を生かした景色。

常滑にある、やきもの散歩道の途中にあります。江戸時代から廻船業を営んでいた、瀧田家の町家。このあたりで、内部公開されている唯一の町家です。主屋のほか、倉庫や離れなどが保存されていて、資料とともに展示されています。常滑が海運の町でもあったことがよくわかります。

瀧田家の横にデンデン坂があります。かっては、目の前が海、デンデン坂から見ていて、船が着くと主人に知らせたから伝える坂でデンデン坂と名付けられたとの事です。

無料開放月間だってことで入らせて頂きました。
当時、ここまで栄えたんだなーと感慨。
惜しげもなく家の中の様子を開放してるのもスバらしい。
改築しているようで、外観は綺麗なもんです。

こちらはやきもの散策道マップAコースをスタートして10分くらい（土管坂近く）の所にあります。
16:30でcloseのため（200円で見学可能）中に入って見る事ができませんでしたが、昔の由緒ある家の佇まいが良かったです。

焼き物の散歩道の経路に有りました。
土管坂の脇にどっしりとある旧家です。
建物の中に入るのは入場料払って見たいですが、通り抜けは無料です。
トイレも有りました。
