This is a must visit place in Italy,- a respectful place of mumies naturally conserved,- and short stories of known history for many of the well conserved bodies and body parts. Even possible to recognize facial expressions and possible to see the unique characteritstics of...More

If you are visiting the Marmore Falls, taking a further trip to Ferentillo is worth it to see the Mummie museum. It is small but the exhibits are worth seeing and are presented in an interesting way and there is information on who they were...More

For those who have a scientific and historical interest in this topic that may otherwise be frightening, a visit to the crypt of the Church is absolutely a must. Here a unique micro-climate and the chemical composition of the soil contributed to naturally mummify the...More

It is a unique place where you can see several "natural mummies", kept that way by the special composition of the soil where the body were buried. It is definitely a place to visit.

If you're planning on visiting the Marmore falls consider the small village of Ferentillo and it's particular museum of the mummies. It's not very big, actually it's rather small, but the mummies are impressive and are witness of some interesting local history

Museo delle Mummie was a very unique experience. Very reasonably priced as well. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.

Did not know what to expect. Was a bit spooky, bizarre but brilliant. Lots of skeletons with the audio it explains who they were and how they died. Not a lot to see here, just skeletons....

This was something recommended by our hosts and we were amazed at the 'mummies' and the lifelike image presented as we viewed the museum exhibits.
